reaffirming software freedom

The onus is on us this saturday at the Software Freedom Day, held by the the Department of Science and Technology in Pretoria.

As for me I'll be doing South Sotho Translations with Translate and other guys and gals I've invited. Some of the guys I've invited for translations come all the way from Nelspruit. Today my invitations totalled 78 with 14 people positive to make it for the event :). If you like FOSS to speak your language come join us or meantime if you have any questions about translations email me or visit Translate website.

I'll also be seen proudly wearing my favorite Kolab t-shirt, the free software to the bone Collaboration suite.

Not forgetting what I love most about an event like this, is meeting FOSS Celebrities :) including the likes of:
  • Eric Andrews - the Master GEEK
  • Friedel & Dwayne Bailey - masterminds behind the award winning Translate.org.za
  • Jonathan Carter - High Voltage :)
So see you there....and expect great photos taken at the event posted right here..
